Kinect Hack Helps Massage Therapists Track Their Session Progress
Alright, you're a healer, and you privation to work your massage clients or s a little distinct to tie in to their "Energy field" operating room even improve your massages, Whatever shall you do? No worries, a colorful new Kinect hack has you (or at least, your clients) covered.
Jason Stephens from Greater New York University's Interactive Technology Department matured the Kinect hack using a TV projector, a Kinect, and the OpenKinect Libraries computer programing tools. The projector is used to relay the Kinect's output onto the client's consistence, and can equal used as a colorful guide for the therapist. IT works thanks to the Kinect camera's depth perception; it doesn't need the likes of green-screening to focus, and it can also judge the distance and movement of the body rather than relying along silvery spots or colors.

While the healer massages and moves parts of the body, the Kinect and computer translate the movements into a "menses study." Successively, the flow subject field is projected back onto the guest's body, and therapist can then see the lines where helium/she has already been — these tracks are shown in red.
Jason's hack is still under development, as he is hoping to add further acquired immune deficiency syndrome like live video (with goggles!) for clients to lear the healer's flow fields. He believes that by being able to assure the beautiful lines on themselves, it creates an "out-of-body-have".
